Code Submissions

For those who prefer their students to code in their own environment, use code submissions. Let students simply upload an archive or a file. For advanced courses, you can enable GitHub/GitLab submissions.

How it works

Let students upload files

Empower your students to seamlessly upload their files directly to CodeGrade. Students can also upload archives, which are automatically extracted for you. This streamlines your workflow, resulting in assessment efficiency, submission uniformity, and centralized management.

GitHub/GitLab submissions

For advanced courses, we provide a GitHub and GitLab integration. Optionally upload a template repository and let students automatically submit on every Git push. This integration streamlines the process of sharing, submitting, and evaluating code assignments within your learning environment.

Give your students the attention they need

"Now that we are using CodeGrade to assist our marking we can get on with the business of assisting our students. This gives us more time to ensure that the students really understand what they are doing. This has been a great win for us."
- Dr. Carl Mooney, Senior Lecturer, Flinders University
