Enhancing the Learner’s Experience with the New Simplified Submission Mode

In 30 seconds...

The new Simplified Submission Mode in CodeGrade offers a more seamless learning experience within the editor, allowing learners to focus on tasks without distractions.

We are excited to introduce our latest improvement to CodeGrade –  the Simplified Submission Mode. This feature ensures a much more seamless experience within the editor, allowing learners to concentrate fully on their tasks, with minimal distraction. With this improvement, learners can engage more efficiently with your instructions, eliminating the need to navigate through pages and templates to access the editor. When you switch on the Simplified Submission Mode, they are now seamlessly directed to the editor, promoting a more focused and productive learning experience.

Educators can be confident in their learners' ability to access their latest submissions or work, as learners will be automatically redirected to their most recent coding activities within the editor. This ensures a smooth and efficient workflow for both educators and learners alike.

How it works

When Simplified Submission Mode is activated, learners are seamlessly guided through their assignments. Upon the initial launch, they are directed to the editor with preloaded starter code, providing a structured template for their work. Subsequent relaunches take them back to their most recent saved progress, ensuring a smooth continuation of their efforts. In the event of a prior submission, learners are swiftly redirected to their latest submitted version, streamlining their workflow and enhancing the overall user experience. You can enable the Simplified Submission Mode on the Assignment Management Page.
