New release CodeGrade PerfectlyNormal.2 and Happy Holidays from CodeGrade!

What a year it's been! CodeGrade is supporting more classrooms than ever and throughout this year we have brought many new, exciting features to our platform. Moreover, we have had many successful webinars, featuring our first ever guest speakers and launched our CodeGrade Community!

Our latest release, CodeGrade PerfectlyNormal.2, will bring many more improvements to CodeGrade on the brink of the new year.

Most importantly, CodeGrade P.2 will greatly improve our Peer Feedback feature. We have listened to your feedback and added many new use-cases to the feature. You can now enable Peer Feedback for group assignments too, allowing groups to give peer feedback to other groups. Additionally, AutoTest results can be made available to peer reviewers. Finally, we have made it easier to toggle between Peer Feedback and non Peer Feedback inline comments in the Code Viewer.

Want to get started with CodeGrade in your course?

Next to the Peer Feedback improvements, we have improved the performance of our website. Many API routes now have improved performance and we have optimized the way we send static assets. This will make your CodeGrade experience even more snappy. To find a full list of all our changes, please check out the full release notes in our changelog here.

We have some very exciting plans in store for 2022, and we cannot wait to share them with you. We're also looking forward to meeting some of you in person again during the many CS Education conferences. From the entire CodeGrade team, we wish you Happy Holidays!

Team CodeGrade,
Sasha, Evie, Lena, Samuel, Sandro, Olmo, Thomas, Youri and Devin
